I had a few "bad days" of running, meaning I still ran but felt completely unmotivated to do so. As you know, I run first thing in the morning. It was 6:00 but it's now become 5:00 a.m. Eeek! This is best for me though because it means I get it done. If I didn't do it first thing in the morning, I probably wouldn't do it.

I love the idea of 3 writing journals-body, mind & soul. That's great!

Small steps, indeed. You can do it. You're worth it -- and, as I recall, you ENJOY it. Do we need to get the pointy boot after you??

Some rhetorical questions/gentle suggestions....

I know what "regimen" means, but as I read this, it sounds like something difficult that has to be done, something onerous. I suppose training can be like that at times, but hopefully it can also be fun too. So I'm wondering if you're finding running less fun lately?

Another aspect is the time angle. Can you find a consistent time to run? If that's been problematic, is it something beyond your control, or can you renegotiate other commitments to yourself or others that would change your schedule somewhat?
